Planck’s Voxel

Beyond the visible: the artwork that brings to life the concept of “Max Planck voxel”.

The universe is made of particles/waves which, according to quantum physics, are subdivided into smaller and smaller parts. The boundary to these subdivisions is called the “Planck Wall”. Just as the smallest point on a (2D) surface is called the Pixel, the smallest point on a volume (3D) is the Voxel, hence the name “Max Planck Voxel”. This part is only mathematically observable due to its size. In this work, the representation of this wave is deliberately magnified to give my interpretation of this subatomic dimension beyond the visible.
