The Vi Grand Pè

Monument in triptych, the three entities of Morlanwelz.

To accommodate the dynamic silhouette of a character from the local folklore of Morlanwelz, “Le Vi Grand Pé”. This monument welcomes visitors at the entrance to the center of Morlanwelz. When the monument is illuminated, we can imagine, from the projected shadows, the figure walking with the help of a puppeteer’s wires. During the day, the character is frozen and then, at nightfall, we imagine him walking with his candlestick holder.
