Electroporation
When art meets science: the representation of an electroporated cell.
The symbolization in a spherical living cell, here an icosahedron, of a phenomenon called Electroporation, the effect that electromagnetic waves can induce on their environment. In this work, you can see the different facets arranged like broken windows. Because these waves have the effect of creating or promoting a “porosity” on cell membranes, such as, among other things, during a radiotherapy session, hence its name, Electroporation.
