NASCITÀ di Michelangelo

“NASCITÀ di Michelangelo” is a minimalist work “born” during an exchange of opinions about our different origins with a member of his family.

This piece aims to bring together the “space-time” of its creator. In front of visitors and with his sense of humor, Michelangelo likes to call this piece: “My birth in the first with a German Pharaoh …”.
Several themes are present and merged, including the astronomical world with the earth and its natural satellite, the moon (Johannes Kepler).
We also find his geographical origins in Sicily, the birth of the artist, Egypt and, finally, mathematics with special numbers.
